Inuktitut Flash Cards

The 30 flash cards available in Module 2 of the Curriculum and Activity Guide showing things that are important to Inuit—animals and hunting tools!

These are flash cards used in classrooms in Nunavut to learn to speak and write in Inuktitut. At the bottom of each flash card, the word is written using both the Roman alphabet and syllabics, which is the alphabet used to write Inuktitut.

Now that you have learned how to pronounce the syllabics, listen to the pronunciation and learn how to say the words on each of the flash cards.
